PHOTOSHOP
Part 1: Getting to know Photoshop
We will get familiar with Photoshop first, then we can to begin to tackle some more complex visual effects. Here's an article that breaks down the history of Photoshop.
Warm Up Exercise: Mr Melonhead
Giuseppe Arcimboldo was an Italian Renaissance painter best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made entirely of objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, and books.
You will receive image files of fruits and vegetables and will learn about the basics of Photoshop by creating a composite of a face made up of parts of fruits and vegetables.
Your composite head must have:
-a head
-eyes, nose, mouth
-eyebrows
-hair
-ears and maybe earrings
-a bowtie, bow, necklace
-anything else you'd like to add in!
